Wix CMS • Content Strategy • SEO • Information Architecture • Web Content Management
The current NHLA website launched in December 2025 in partnership with Heartwood Brands, who led the site's development. As NHLA's content lead throughout the redevelopment, I coordinated the assets provided to their team, edited and optimized copy for SEO, readability, and brand consistency, and helped shape the site's information architecture, navigation, and overall creative direction.
Since launch, I manage NHLA's front-facing web presence, keeping content accurate, current, and engaging across educational programs and course calendars, upcoming events, Convention information, alumni galleries, member resources, and the industry job board. I adapt content from NHLA's Hardwood Matters print magazine for digital publication, optimizing articles for traditional SEO and AI-driven discovery, and oversee incoming website inquiries, responding directly when appropriate or connecting users with the appropriate staff member.
My ongoing focus is ensuring the website remains a useful, accessible, and evolving resource for NHLA members and the broader hardwood industry.

Wix CMS • Brand Implementation • Web Content Management • Digital Strategy • SEO
The current World Millwork Alliance website launched in February 2025 in partnership with Heartwood Brands, who led the site's development. The relaunch coincided with a broader WMA brand refresh that introduced a new logo, color palette, and visual identity. My role focused on the content and creative side of the transition, helping carry the new brand throughout the website to create a cohesive and consistent digital presence.
Since launch, I manage WMA's front-facing web content through Wix and its CMS, including membership resources, webinars, Trade Show information, industry and regulatory resources, and other timely content. This includes maintaining CMS-driven content and making page-level updates as new programs, campaigns, and organizational priorities evolve.
My ongoing focus is keeping the website current, useful, and aligned with WMA's brand and broader communications strategy.

WordPress • End-to-End Website Design • Site Architecture • Content & Copywriting
I independently designed and built the My 901 Media website in WordPress with a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and ease of navigation. The goal was to create a straightforward digital home where visitors can quickly understand who we are, what we do, and how to reach us without unnecessary barriers or complexity.
I manage the site's structure, design, copy, imagery, SEO, and ongoing updates. As our business has evolved, the website has evolved with it, including the addition of this portfolio as a central place to showcase my professional work and experience.
My email marketing experience spans strategy, design, execution, and automation across a variety of audiences, campaign types, and email platforms. I’ve created reusable templates for recurring communications as well as fully custom designs for one-time campaigns. I’ve also built automated audience journeys with branching paths based on subscriber actions and behaviors.
My work includes newsletters, member communications, event and registration campaigns, sponsored content, editorial promotions, and targeted outreach, with responsibilities ranging from content planning and copywriting to audience segmentation, deployment, testing, and ongoing optimization.

Social Strategy • Member Communications • Event Promotion • Community Management • Performance Monitoring
WMA's social strategy centers on maintaining a consistent, recognizable industry presence while keeping members informed and connected. Content supports year-round communication around webinars, member benefits, industry resources, and association activity, with a significant seasonal focus on driving awareness and registration for the annual Convention & Trade Show.
The strategy also puts WMA's people and members at the forefront, using event-driven content, staff activity, and community engagement to make the organization feel accessible and connected to the industry it serves.
WMA’s staff-led video strategy brings a more personal voice to the organization’s digital presence. Using raw, direct-to-camera footage provided by WMA’s Director of Membership, I handle post-production from start to finish, transforming informal recordings into polished, platform-ready content through editing, pacing, branded graphics, captions, audio enhancement, and final formatting.
Industry Communications • Technical Communications • Content Strategy • Campaign Creative • Event Promotion
NHLA's social media strategy reflects its role as a leading voice for the hardwood industry, balancing timely industry communications with the promotion of education, services, membership, events, and the annual Convention & Exhibit Showcase.
I develop content that translates a wide range of organizational priorities into clear, engaging digital communications, from technical and industry updates to class promotion, member stories, staff features, event campaigns, and organizational news. The goal is to maintain an active, recognizable presence that keeps the industry informed while continually reinforcing the resources and expertise NHLA provides.
NHLA’s video content is adapted to fit both the audience and platform rather than following a single format. My work ranges from fast-paced, short-form social content designed to promote programs like the National Hardwood Academy to longer-form presentation style storytelling that introduces viewers to NHLA, its people, and its role within the hardwood industry.
Across formats, I handle editing and post-production, including pacing, audio, captions, graphics, branding, and platform-specific formatting to turn raw footage and concepts into polished digital content.
Creative Direction • Promotional Content • Seasonal Campaigns • Visual Storytelling
Wicked Ways Haunted House gives me the opportunity to take a more entertainment-driven approach to digital content. Video plays a central role in the seasonal marketing strategy, with promotional pieces developed around the overall haunt experience as well as specific attractions, events, and offers throughout the season.
Working within a highly concentrated promotional window, I capture, create, and edit video content designed to garner attention, build anticipation, communicate what's happening at the attraction, and ultimately support ticket sales. The creative direction is intentionally different from most of my work, allowing for greater experimentation with pacing, sound, effects, humor, and visual storytelling while still serving clear campaign goals.
